I love the sea and its many inhabitants and use photography as a way to connect with the fantastic and unique underwater and coastal ecosystems of my home, the Cape Peninsula, South Africa. Whether wandering a wild beach, breathing in the kelp forest's cool salty air before a journey to the bottom, or perching on a cliff overlooking the sea, I usually have a camera with me. My focus is the connection of an animal to its surroundings, the character and strength of the individual with the beauty of its home.
